Karamo PB reflects a dedicated approach to craftsmanship, quality, and environmentally conscious farming practices. Made up of 600 smallholder producers, they are committed to sustainable agriculture, focusing on methods that support both the land and the surrounding community over the long term.
The coffee is cultivated in rich, fertile soil, which contributes to the overall health of the coffee plants and the development of complex flavour profiles. During harvest, only the ripest cherries are carefully selected by hand to ensure optimal sweetness and flavour consistency in the final cup. This particular offering has undergone a natural processing method. In this traditional approach, the coffee cherries are spread out to dry under the sun with the fruit still intact around the bean. Unlike washed processing, where the outer skin and mucilage are removed before drying, the natural process allows the sugars and compounds in the fruit to ferment naturally over time.
