Grown between 2450 and 2580 masl, Gonjobe is Basha’s highest elevation farm and the lot that helped establish his name as one of the exciting young producers in the region.\u003cspan class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchor\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eBasha works with coffee from his own farm as well as his family’s farms around Gonjobe. Ripe cherries are carefully collected, floated and sorted before being dried whole on African raised beds under clean mesh. Once dried, the coffee is hulled at Basha’s mill in Bombe before being prepared for export from Addis Ababa.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe Gonjobe farm sits on rich Nitisol soils and covers around 50.5 hectares, producing an annual crop of approximately 15.5 tonnes. Since 2021, Basha has continued to grow his work across Gonjobe, Murago and Kokose, building a network focused on quality coffees from Bensa.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eGonjobe is particularly meaningful to Basha.
