Nestled in the heart of Ecuador highlands, the farm spans across hills, where the volcanic soil nourishes the coffee plants to produce beans of quality. Juan Peña, owner of Hacienda La Papaya and CafExporto, has expanded his work in the past 2 years, exporting more Hacienda coffee, and starting the CafExporto project, working with farms across Ecuador.
JH process, short for Jekyll & Hyde, utilises bacteria and yeast isolated from coffee materials, then adding it back during processing to elevate and highlight terroir and varietal traits of the coffee.
This particular lot exhibits notes of apple, apricot and plums!
